Practical questions for temporary assignments.
The actual listing should explain duties, location, schedule, pay and requirements. Voccora only presents approved open listings in public search. These examples describe kinds of work; they do not advertise specific openings, wages or guaranteed availability.
Ask whether the assignment involves picking, packing, loading or inventory work. Confirm lifting requirements, training, equipment and the reporting entrance. Do not operate machinery unless you have the required training and authorization.
Search approved warehouse listingsClarify whether the shift is guest service, setup, food service or cleanup. Ask about clothing, check-in, breaks and whether the advertised finish time includes closing duties. Confirm any role-specific requirements with the employer.
Search approved hospitality listingsAn event date may include preparation before guests arrive and breakdown afterward. Confirm each work period, who supervises the assignment and which equipment or tasks are expected. Agree on any travel between venues.
Search approved events listingsDiscuss item sizes, stairs, lifting, team size and the number of locations before accepting. Ask who supplies handling equipment and transport. A short assignment still needs clear safety instructions and an agreed pay arrangement.
Search approved moving listingsConfirm the rooms or site covered, products supplied, protective equipment and tasks excluded from the assignment. Ask about training for unfamiliar chemicals or equipment; do not mix products or take on a hazard you have not been trained to handle.
Search approved cleaning listingsA one-day assignment, a fixed project and a seasonal role can have different schedules and expectations. Ask for the intended end date, whether more shifts are optional and whether any continuing role is actually offered. Temporary work does not automatically mean independent contracting; clarify the arrangement with the employer.
Use the dates in public job search to compare assignments. Voccora does not infer that a role is seasonal or permanent when the employer has not verified it.
